At Mukuta H Publication, we are committed to providing high-quality books and excellent customer service. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and exchanges of products purchased through our website.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Print Books - Returns and Refunds

Eligibility for Returns

Print books may be returned for a refund or exchange under the following conditions:

  • Defective Products: Books with printing errors, missing pages, binding defects, or damage received during shipping
  • Wrong Product: You received a different book than what you ordered
  • Damaged in Transit: Books damaged during shipping (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery)

Return Timeframe

Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product. The product must be returned to us within 14 days of receiving our return authorization.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the book must:

  • Be in its original condition (unread, unmarked)
  • Include original packaging if applicable
  • Not be damaged due to misuse or mishandling
  • Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Refund Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at mukutahpublication@gmail.com or call +91 9101773655 with your order number
  2. Provide details about the issue or reason for return
  3. We will provide return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Ship the product back to us using the provided address
  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund

Digital Books (eBooks) - Refunds

eBook Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, eBooks are generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. However, we may consider refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to download or access the eBook due to technical problems on our end
  • Wrong Format: If you received a different format than what was advertised and specified
  • Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same eBook twice
  • Defective File: If the eBook file is corrupted or incomplete

eBook Refund Timeframe

Refund requests for eBooks must be made within 48 hours of purchase and before the eBook has been downloaded or accessed. Once an eBook has been downloaded, refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances as outlined above.

Refund Processing

Refund Method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • Online Payment Gateways: 3-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days

Refund Amount

For approved returns:

  • You will receive a full refund of the product price
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong product, defective item)
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for print books in cases of defects or wrong products. To request an exchange:

  1. Contact us with your order number and reason for exchange
  2. We will provide exchange authorization
  3. Return the original product following our instructions
  4. Once we receive the returned product, we will ship the replacement

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested product is unavailable, we will offer a refund or suggest an alternative.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are generally non-refundable:

  • eBooks that have been downloaded or accessed (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Books damaged due to customer misuse or mishandling
  • Books returned after the specified return period
  • Books without proof of purchase
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Shipping charges (unless return is due to our error)

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it is shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it following our return policy.

To cancel an order, contact us immediately with your order number. If the order has not been processed, we will issue a full refund. If the order has already been processed or shipped, you will need to follow the return procedure.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except when the return is due to:

  • Our error (wrong product shipped)
  • Defective product
  • Damage during shipping

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns and retaining proof of shipment. We are not responsible for items lost during return shipping.
